AI Challenge

Today in our Cybersmart lesson we created AI photos of fairy tales and knights.

The first thing we did was write our description. Of the character and then the setting.

Next we had to describe our picture.

The last step was we inserted our picture in to our slides.

The most interesting part of creating this activity was searching for our photos and looking at the results.

This is my favorite picture I created using AI

Anzac

ANZAC is the day for Australia and New Zealand to gather up all their soldiers to fight. One popular thing about ANZAC is that there is something called Poppies. Poppies are a flower that grows in a special cemetery; the special cemetery is where all the soldiers are buried.world war one started at 1914 and ended at 1918 here’s a fact ANZAC actually stands for Australia New Zealand army corp but if you think corp in ANZAC means like dead body it actually mean corporation just say the word corp without the letter r. There is something called mascots.mascots are animals that help the soldiers with important things.ANZAC day is a national day of remembrance for those who served and died. And we honor the men and women who participated in war. ANZAC day is a public holiday to celebrate. 8,700 Australians and 2,779 New Zealanders soldiers killed.

Last week we made sun catcher poppies we used black cardboard, red cellophane, sticky duraseal We used the black cardboard  to cut it like a poppy then we  put the poppy outline on the sticky duraseal.  We cut the red cellophane into little bits then put the bits of red cellophane on the poppy of the sticky part. We did two petals at once. Then once we finished we stuck them on the wall. I really enjoyed making it. I shined  like a diamond. It looked very pretty.

My koru mosaic

In Cybersmart this week, we learned how to find a picture and then make a mosaic of it, using polylines. We had to fill in the shapes with different colors. It took a long time to finish but it was fun.

Earthworms

Last week Malia found an Earthworm outside after it has been raining. The day after that we decided to find some earth worms. We managed to find some and we got a see through container and then filled it up with soil. It was kind of hard to find soft soil. Finally we put the earthworms in the container. I learned that earthworms have a very small brain and they have segments on their bodies – those are for letting them move easily through their tunnels that they make. They also have to keep their skin moist so they don’t dry out and die.
