In RE this term we have been talking about our whanau! We were making koru patterns that represent our whanau. We learned how to draw a koru pattern, and there is an artist that draws koru patterns to represent his whanau and his name is Reuben Paterson. Then after we finished drawing our koru patterns to show our whanau, we coloured them with wax crayons and today we dyed our pictures with red, blue or yellow dye. I drew my dad, mom, my sister and brother and me.
